Little creature so soft and kind
My sweet child unknowing of hate
Small bundle of potential await
My sweet child unknowing of war
Little creature so soft never knowing life before
My sweet child unknowing of Sickness
Small bundle of weakness
My sweet child unknowing of time
Little creature so young and blind
life is as fleeting, as water down a drain.
Every mundane moment is a loss of adventure
spirits change as we cross into adulthood.
You’re gone now.
God, I wish you were here.
One last time I call for you.
God, someone needs to hear,
One last cry for help in a soundproof box.
God, save me from drowning in the river you made.
One last time I try to breathe enveloped in water.
God, if there was one I’m sure you would be alive.
I am so in love with the mind you behold,
Your secrecy like a secret in itself seldom told
To say I deserve you is an insult to god
I am so in love with your gaze your eyes provide
Your iris as deep as the night sky
To ask you to look into mine is an insult to sight
I am so in love with your sound
your song graced my ears like a songbirds first warble
To say anyone compares is an insult to sound

Your graceful walk makes me worship the ground
